Having played in a team leading 83 straight games for the Cincinnati Bengals, Domata Peko, DL, Bengals, will be looked upon for veteran leadership as offseason workouts begin to gear up.
“Praise God,’ Peko said. “I’m going into my 10th season and I know how blessed I am. What you sow in the offseason is what you reap. If you’re working hard in February or March or when other guys aren’t working, you’re going to have success.”
The Bengals will be returning a key core of their defense from the 2014 season and will be relying heavily on the “upbeat” Peko to make it even further in the playoffs. “I thought near the end of last year we were getting that swagger back,” Peko says. “The three-and-outs, the turnovers.”
